Sapa 3 Days 3 Night Homestay by Night Train

Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages, about 8 km from Sapa town, where black H’mong and Dzay people are living, it is also the beginning of the valley which is called Muong Hoa. Day 1: Hanoi – Night train to Sapa(Meals: -/-/-)

8:00 pm: Our guide picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter then leave for Hanoi Railway Station for night train to Lao Cai. We will keep the train tickets for you and guide you how to get into train cabin and get out of the train from Lao Cai Railway Station. Our driver will hold your name board at the exit gate of Lao Cai Railway Station.

Day 2:  Sapa- Lao Chai- Ta Van Village trekking tour (B/L/D)

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station about 6:00 am. Our driver will pick you up and transfer you along the beautiful road to Sapa town. You will have breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will begin yours trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley toward Lao Chai village of Black H’mong ethnic people. We will visit the biggest valley which provides the best view for golden rice terrace fields in Vietnam. After having lunch at local restaurant or local family at Lao Chai we walk to Ta Van village of Giay people. It is a small group of ethnic people in Vietnam with a rich culture and beautiful houses located on rice paddy fields.

Day 3: Ta Van - Dzang Ta Chai villages - Hanoi (B/ L/D) 

After breakfast, we continue to visit Red Dzao people at Dzang Ta Chai village. The Red Dzao women have very colorful red embroidery and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of them have shaved off their eyebrows because of a nice Red Dzao Legend. 

We will walk to the rice paddy fields where we’ll have a nice photo session of the amazing surrounding landscapes. A trek through the bamboo forest soon follows which gives you the experience of Vietnam tropical jungle. After having lunch at Dzang Ta Chai village, we will walk to the main road to take a bus back to Sapa.

13h30 – 14h30: You have some free time to relax at the hotel

16:30 – 17:00: Transfer from hotel to Lao Cai train station.

18h00 – 19h00: Have dinner at the restaurant, near the train station before getting on the night train to go back to Ha Noi. Overnight on train. Arrive in Ha Noi at 5.00 am. Tour ends.
